You may be eligible to apply for a Uniform Grant if:
The child for whom the application is made is attending a maintained secondary school (i.e. not a private school) in the Essex area.
The parent/guardian of the child/children can demonstrate exceptional circumstances and be in receipt of either Income Support, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance or Child Tax Credit, but not Working Tax Credit (in which case annual income will also be considered)
