Building Control - the Disability Discrimination Act 1995

6.5 million people in the UK have a disability.
2.5. million people with a disability are of working age.

The Disability Discrimination Act is aimed at ending any discrimination against people with a disability.

The D.D.A. 1995 gives disabled people new rights in the areas of:

Employment
Access to Goods and Services
Buying or renting land or property
