The Oaktree Resource Centre is where you will be able to spend time with your child/children while they are looked after in public care. This arrangement is often referred to as 'contact'.
Contact with your child may be the result of direction from the Court or by voluntary agreement. Whatever the reasons, it is important that you continue to spend time together to keep your relationship positive.
Children in public care need to spend time with their families so it is important that you attend all sessions arranged for you. If for some reason you cannot attend a session, please let the staff at the Centre know in time to change the arrangements for your child. This will help to ease the disappointment it may cause.
