Direct DemocracyWhat is Direct Democracy?Direct Democracy is the part of Thurrock Council's web site that contains information on all areas of the Council which actively involve and are of most interest to members of the community. These areas include elections, council meetings, community forums and information on your councillors and MPs. Please follow the links below to find out more about these and other areas. Forthcoming meetings - next 30 daysMeeting agenda may be accessed online via our Committee Management Information System. Use the links from individual meeting names below to access the agenda menus for each meeting.
The Agenda and accompanying reports of these meetings will be available for public inspection at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays at least five clear working days before the meeting (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays), between the hours of 8.45am and 5.15pm. If you wish to attend a Council meeting and require assistance to access the building in which the meeting is being held, please contact Democratic Services on the relevant number as set out above, or email direct.democracy@thurrock.gov.uk and arrangements will be made.
