Thurrock Council's Food Team is responsible for the inspection of all manufacturers, caterers and retailers in Thurrock. The team ensures that the food hygiene and quality of food manufactured and/or sold in the borough meets legal requirements. It is also responsible for ensuring that food is correctly labelled and advertised.
