Once the form has been completed the Council will store the details securely and confidentially within the Electoral Services team system. Access to the information you provide will be on a strictly need to know basis and the information will be retained for as long as you appear on the Register of Electors or as appropriate according to Electoral legislation, before being securely disposed of / deleted from our systems. This information may be shared externally with other organisations or partners for example other local authorities, credit reference agencies and other organisations involved in the detection and prevention of crime.
