Who pays for the support?
Supporting People may pay for all or some of your housing-related support. The money is paid directly to the support provider not you. We offer two types of services:
- Short-term support is free and given to you for two years or less. An example might be a homeless hostel for somebody to receive support before they move on to their own home.
- Long-term support is given to you for more than two years. You may have to pay towards this but it will depend on your income. We can also give you financial help, if you cannot afford to pay.
