Thurrock Council has changed the way it allocates properties

A new way of allocating council properties began on 20 May 2013. This applies to all applicants for Thurrock Council and Housing Association properties in the borough. Find out more at: Housing Allocations changes from May 2013.

Housing Complaints & 'Designated Persons'

From 1 April 2013, tenant panels, MPs & councillors can help resolve complaints locally acting as Designated Persons.

Gas Safety Checks

As a landlord, Thurrock Council must arrange a safety check for all the gas appliances and flues in the homes of our tenants - excluding gas appliances that tenants own.
