| Title of the Consultation | Budget Consultation 2010 |
|---|
| Purpose | Each year the council has to plan its spending for the following year. As well as being a statutory requirement, we are consulting to make sure that the council spends money on services which are priorities for local people and local businesses. The budget is usually considered by Cabinet and debated at full council in February/March. You can get involved by completing the online budget simulator, which will give you the opportunity to tell us how you would allocate the council's budget. It only takes five minutes and shows you what the effects would be of increasing or decreasing spending in different services. Alternatively, we can send you a questionnaire which you can complete and return to us. If you would like a copy, please contact M Fowler on 01375 652131. |
