| Title of the Consultation | Thurrock's Budget - Let's Talk, 2011 |
|---|
| Purpose | Last year Thurrock Council carried out its most effective consultation with thousands of people taking part in Thurrock's Budget - Let's Talk. Now the council is asking local people to get involved again. A special meeting of the council's cabinet agreed a series or proposals to make sure it brings in a balanced budget for the next financial year (2012/2013). Residents are now asked to say whether they agree with the proposals or not, and to send comments. All the voting and all the comments will be provided for councillors to look over before they make any final decisions. They will also go before the appropriate council overview and scrutiny committees for comment too. |
