Did you know that Thurrock Libraries provides services especially for Children?
- Babies can join a Library from the moment they are born.
- The first Bookstart bag is given out at Health Clinics at baby's 12 month check-up.
- Babies and toddlers can enjoy Baby Rhyme Times in 9 of the libraries in Thurrock.
- Primary School children often visit the library with their class.
- Secondary School children visit the library to use books and the Internet for help with their homework.
- Children can use our online subscription to Encyclopaedia Britannica for help with homework assignments. You can access these from home free of charge by clicking on the link and keying in your library card number.
- A Summer Reading Challenge is run every year during the summer holidays.
- Fun events are often held during half-terms.
