The Thurrock Music Services Concert Wind Band meets on Mondays between 5:30 and 7:00pm at the Culver Centre, South Ockendon and is aimed at performers who wish to play with a traditional Concert Windband.
The music covered ranges from film music (Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, John Williams etc.) as well as the more traditional wind band music by the likes of Holst and Vaughan-Williams.
Membership is open to all Thurrock Wind and Percussion players. Players of school age are welcome as are adult instrumentalists.
There are currently vacancies in all departments but especially in Lower Brass, Flutes and Percussion.
