Thurrock Music Services have a large bank of instruments for hire to those taking lessons with the service. The service also runs an Assisted Musical Instrument Purchase Scheme for Pupils.

All instruments are free to hire for the first term (subject to tuition with TMS) thereafter the termly hire fee is as follows:

The music service office has set time periods for the collection and return of instruments. These are between 10:00am and 12:30pm on Tuesdays and between 2:00 and 4:00pm on Thursdays. We are unable to provide a collection or return service outside of these hours.
We are pleased to advise that all instruments are insured under a blanket All Risks policy arranged through British Reserve. This is included in the hire price. The hirer must keep the property in a good state of repair and take all reasonable precautions to prevent accidents, loss or damage.
