Thurrock Adult Community College has successfully retained the Investors in People Standard for the 4th time running.
The rigorous inspection took 2 days and the assessor spoke to various staff members from tutors through to the Principal. The Assessor said she was 'very impressed with the positive ethos within the college and the strong sense of teamwork at all levels' and thanked the staff who were interviewed for their open and honest feedback.
Some of the key strengths identified during the inspection were: 'good, open approach to communication throughout the college', strong commitment to staff development at all levels', 'staff feel valued' and 'staff encouragement to contribute to ideas and decisions'
Principal, Sharon Walsh, said, 'It is fantastic that the college has received this award once again. I'd like to congratulate all the staff for their hard work over the past year.'
