Residents of Purfleet can get into the festive spirit early this year at a special community Christmas gathering.

Organised by Purfleet Community Forum on Saturday, 29 November at St Stephen's Church, London Road, Purfleet, the evening promises to be an informal, friendly get-together with giveaways, prizes, refreshments, nibbles and a big Christmas tree.

The fun starts at 6pm and is open to individuals and associations, giving them the chance to socialise, find out what's going on in Purfleet and talk about what the forum are doing.
