The Thurrock Minerals and Waste Site Allocations and Policies for Control of Development Plan Document - Issues and Options and the accompanying 'Assessment of Thurrock Minerals and Waste Sites' was published for consultation in December 2009.
The documents considered the issues and options in respect to the policies for the control of development and the sites required for the period to 2021 to meet the mineral and waste need identified in the then Draft Core Strategy.
A Core Strategy and Policies for Control of Development "Issues and Options" consultation was undertaken in July 2006. Minerals and Waste issues and options were presented in Topic Area 10. An "Analysis of Responses" was published in March 2007.
