Thurrock Council, together with partners and key stakeholders, has produced a Sport & Active Recreation Strategy.
This study provides partners in Thurrock with a strategy for the development of the existing and new sports and active leisure facilities in Thurrock over the next 10 years. It includes an assessment of current facilities and the need for a programme that will encourage and promote sports participation and a healthier lifestyle.
