Thameside Theatre is part of the Thameside Complex, a multi-purpose arts venue including the Theatre, Thameside Two, Museum, Library and an Exhibition Area.
Thameside Two is a versatile function room used for meetings, readings, seminars, training courses and slide/video presentations, and has a capacity to seat 42. The Museum houses a permanent display of all aspects of local history, and has temporary topical displays.
Thameside Theatre has a comfortable bar open before and during the performance.
Our friendly bar staff are happy to take pre-paid orders for interval drinks. A kiosk stacked full of sweets, drinks and other goodies is also open throughout the performances. For functions in the Theatre and Thameside Two tea, coffee and biscuits are available. Catering can be arranged with outside caterers.
The Thameside complex has a versatile function room available for hire six days a week from Monday to Saturday. Organisations and individuals intending to use our venue for meetings, readings, seminars, training courses and slide/video presentations, will be pleased at the facilities we offer.

Box Office: 0845 300 5264. Telephone bookings must be paid for within 4 days of booking. Bookings made less than 4 days in advance must be paid for 30 minutes before the performance. Mastercard, Visa, Switch and Solo cards welcome. There is a 50p handling charge for this service which covers 1st class postage.
At Thameside Box Office daily Monday to Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 9:15am-1pm and 2pm-5pm, and one hour before any performance. Payment by cash or cheque (with bankers card), Mastercard, Visa, Switch or Solo cards.
Stating date, performance, tickets required, together with cheque or postal order for the full amount and sent to Thameside Theatre, Orsett Road, Grays, Essex RM17 5DX. Cheques should be made payable to Thurrock Council.
All children under the age of 1 year do not require a vaild ticket. Please inform the booking staff of this when making your booking.
