There is a chance to catch a glimpse of the Edinburgh Festival at the Thameside Theatre in Grays on Friday (7 July).
Kids TV presenter Kirsten O'Brien joins up and coming comedian Ruth Bratt for a preview of their new show Lesley's Lunch Hour at the Orsett Road venue's bar at 8pm.
The show promises a "subtlety subversive" set of sketches devised over the last three visits to the Edinburgh Fringe.
They will be supported by Australian "Elle McPhereson look-alike" Kim Hope with extracts from her award winning show "Rollercoaster".
Although Kirsten is known as the presenter of SmART with Rolf Harris, she starred with Otis the Aardvark on Saturday morning TV for many years. She is also the lady who gave Ann Robinson a run for her money when she won Celebrity Weakest Link.
Kirsten is a Guinness world record holder and currently presents BBC World Service children's radio.
Ruth Bratt is a guest on Rob Brydon's new TV show Annually Challenged
The Thameside show is rated 12-plus, since lots of the sketches have adult content.
Tickets are £5 on the door or in advance on 0845 300 5264
