A flat sprung floor - maple with Harlequin dance floor covering in wood grain effect. Main acting area when front of house tabs closed (from back of FOH tabs to Cylorama wall) 9.1m wide by 6.7m deep. Fixed legs normally intrude approx 0.5m either side into this space Proscenium arch opening 9.1m wide, height 3.85m (or 2.85m when border is in use). Working height on stage (floor to lowest lighting barrel) 3.7m Max sensible height for flattage 3.1m or 3.2m maximum. Curved apron stage extends 2.2 metres in front of Front of House tabs at centre point to 1m at the sides.
Offstage area widths Stage left 2m. Stage right 1.5m. plus 1m leg cover. S/M Desk Stage right. Tannoy, talkback and stage video monitor. Stage is 0.5m above floor of auditorium, access to auditorium from stage via 3 tread stair centre stage.
No orchestra pit but, can accommodate approx 7 musicians by removing 14 seats from auditorium (if this is required it must be arranged in advance - there is a charge for this service) these would be seat numbers C1-8 and D1-8. An orchestra of approx. 15 can be accommodated in Thameside Two via video link. NB - This facility must be arranged in advance. Please ensure that any changes to the auditorium are agreed with your ticket sellers.

Access to the stage from ground floor is via the stage lift with a door on Titan Road. The lift loads through one door at ground level then empties at 2nd floor dressing rooms and 3rd floor stage through doors on opposite side of car.
The stage lift has a bigger door at the ground level than at stage level so just because you can get it in - doesn't mean you will be able to get it out.
Please ensure that your scenery will fit in the lift - for health and safety reasons theatre staff are not permitted to carry items via a staircase.
If you have any pieces that need to come up the stairs please ensure you have enough staff to do so.
Foldback using mixture of powered and unpowered JBL speakers. A sound desk can be situated in auditorium by removing seat numbers O21-24 and P5-8.
All dressing rooms have stage video monitors. Separate male and female toilets and showers.
