Thurrock Council operates a regular schedule for collecting domestic waste from all properties in the borough. Waste for disposal or recycling is collected from green/grey, blue and brown wheeled bins on a weekly basis.
Your wheelie bins will be emptied on the designated collection day. There are exceptions to this however, for example during adverse weather conditions, no-access due to vehicle obstructions etc. Other changes to the collection dates, such as bank holidays, will be notified for each road.
To check the next scheduled collection dates for any road in the borough, select the initial letter of the road from the A-Z list below:

For example, if you live in Davis Road, Aveley you would select D from the A to Z list. This will present you with a list of all roads in the borough beginning with the letter D, along with their next collection dates. Simply scroll down to Davis Road, Aveley where you will find a link to the next three months' scheduled collection dates, showing alternatives if the usual date has changed due to a public holiday.
When ordering replacements for stolen or damaged bins, please note that these can take from 7 to 10 working days to be delivered.
