Mondays

Time Activity Notes
9:30am to 10:30am Stay and play No session on 11 June. For ages 12 months to 24 months. Fun activities for you and your child. The sessions promote social skills and stimulation to support your child's development. All welcome.
9:30am to 1pm 2 year-olds development assessment checks Health and development assessment to check your child's weight, height, learning, diet and behaviour. By referral only.
10:45am to 11:45am Stay and play No session on 11 June. For ages 24 months to 60 months. Fun activities for you and your child. The sessions promote social skills and stimulation to support your child's development. All welcome.
2pm to 3pm Stay and play – story sack fun For ages 24 months to 60 months. Fun activities for you and your child. The sessions promote social skills and stimulation to support your child's development. All welcome.

Tuesdays

9:15am to 10:15am Introduction to solids 12 June. For ages 0 to 8 months. A programme to support parents and carers with introducing solid foods to their baby. Book in advance.
9:30am to 10:30am Stay and play At St Clement's Hall, West Thurrock. For ages 24 months to 60 months. Fun activities for you and your child. The sessions promote social skills and stimulation to support your child's development. The session also shares ideas to support your child's learning at home. All welcome.

11am to midday Let's talk with your baby From 12 June. At St Clement's Hall, West Thurrock. For ages 0 to 12 months. A programme to promote positive adult-child interaction and communication skills, attachment, stimulation in a rich environment through interactive, fun activities. Book in advance.
1:30pm to 3:30pm Child health clinic, baby weighing For ages 0 to 60 months. All welcome
2pm to 3pm Stay and play For ages 0 to 12 months. Fun activities for you and your child. The sessions promote social skills and stimulation to support your child's development. All welcome.
3:45pm to 4:45pm Pyramid parenting From 12 June. For parent and carers of children from 5 to 11 years-old. A course on the role parents and carers play in promoting a positive self-image and resilience in their children. It also provides knowledge, skills and experiences that can enhance your relationship with your child.

Wednesdays

Time Activity Notes
9am to10am Fun, food and fitness From 6 June. For ages 18 months to 60 months. Fun, physical activities and ideas to keep your child healthy and fit. An opportunity for your child to try different types of food each week and for parents to receive advice on healthy eating including fussy eating and portion sizes. Book in advance.
9am to10am English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) conversation club A club for parents and carers to develop their English speaking and listening skills with friends. Book in advance.
10:30am to 11:30am Baby massage For ages 0 to 12 months. Baby massage offers a wonderful opportunity for you to bond and learn how to communicate with your baby through nurturing touch and massage in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Book in advance. £12 for 6 sessions.
2pm to 3pm Play and learn From 20 June. For ages 24 months to 60 months. A 6-week programme for families to support their child’s learning through play. The sessions also provide ideas on how to support your child’s learning at home. Book in advance.
3:45pm to 4:45pm Go girls From 13 June. A programme to support parents and carers with practical approaches for supporting girls' emotional development and building their self-esteem. Packed with ideas for activities, exercises, group-work, games and helpful hints on supporting girls' and young women's personal development. Book in advance.

Thursdays

9:30am to 1pm 1 year-olds and 2 year-olds development assessment checks Health and development assessment to check your child's weight, height, learning, diet and behaviour. By referral only.
10am to midday Paediatric first aid 7 June. One-day course. Call 01375 372 476 to book in advance. A fee of £2.70 must be paid at the time of booking.
11am to midday Welcome session 14 June. For ages 0 to 12 months. All welcome.
1:15pm to 2:15pm Let's talk with your baby From 12 June. For ages 0 to 12 months. A programme to promote positive adult-child interaction and communication skills, attachment, stimulation in a rich environment through interactive, fun activities. Book in advance.
3:30pm to 4:30pm Bookstart corner From 31 May. For ages 18 months to 60 months. A Booktrust programme to support families to develop a love of stories, books and rhymes to help their children's early reading skills. Book in advance.

Fridays

9am to 11:30am Glucose tolerance test (GTT) and antenatal bloods For ages 24 months to 60 months. Book in advance.
9am to midday Health visitor ante-natal appointments By referral only.
11am to midday Patch parenting From 26 May. A parenting course that provides support with the everyday challenges of parenting young children. Sessions will cover topics such as being a parent, play, temper tantrums and praise. Parents have the opportunity to discuss other areas of concern if they wish to do so. Book in advance.
1:30pm to 2:30pm Stay and play – messy play For ages 24 months to 60 months. Fun activities for you and your baby. The sessions promote social skills and stimulation to support your child's development. Please wear old clothes! All welcome.
2pm to 3pm Big cook, little cook No sessions on 22 or 29 June. For ages 24 months to 60 months. Book in advance.
