The Great British Spring Clean was originally planned for 2 to 4 March 2018, but has now been postponed due to snow – we will update this page when new dates have been confirmed.
The Great British Spring Clean is a national campaign to get half a million people out and about cleaning up their local communities.
We're supporting groups in Thurrock who want to take part and clear their streets and parks.
How to take part
Find out whether a clear-up has been organised near you by going to the Great British Spring Clean website, and using 'Find your nearest event' to search by town or post code.
You can create a spring clean event for your community in just 2 simple steps.
First, use the form below to let us know if you would like to take part.
If you let us know by Monday 26 February, we can provide equipment to help you on the day. It also helps us manage numbers and make sure everyone stays safe.
Next, after agreeing plans with us, you can register online with the Great British Spring Clean.
The target is to collect up to 10 bags of rubbish. If you send us a photo of the area as it looks before and after your clear-up, and tell us how many volunteers joined in, we will help you celebrate.
