Thurrock Adult Community College

Coronavirus (COVID-19) – college update

We are now taking bookings for courses next term. We will be providing courses using remote online learning and classroom-based learning that follows government safety rules. You can book courses and assessments online, including free online community courses in August and September.

We remain closed temporarily for public visits. Our pre-school is open from September during term time. Our rooms are not available for hire until further notice.

How to enrol

Most courses can be booked straight away.

If a course listing says you would need an 'Informal interview or assessment before enrolling', book a session by calling our Student Services team using the details below. You will have the opportunity to meet one of our tutors, who will:

  • check you are on the right course
  • discuss the course requirements with you
  • make sure you pay the right fee
  • tell you about any additional costs or possible financial support.

If a listed course has no confirmed start date, you can call our Student Services team to express an interest. These courses run when minimum numbers have registered and, if applicable, learners have been assessed.

Early payment discount – 10% off tuition fees

You can get a discount of 10% from tuition fees if you pay in full when enrolling, and your course is either:

  • 16 weeks or more
  • 32 hours or more

Enrolling is easy by any of the following options.

Enrolling in person

You can enrol by visiting the Adult Education Centre in Richmond Road, Grays. Complete an enrolment form and take it along with any payment and proof of benefit, if applicable.
