Thurrock Adult Community College

Coronavirus (COVID-19) – college update

We are now taking bookings for courses next term. We will be providing courses using remote online learning and classroom-based learning that follows government safety rules. You can book courses and assessments online, including free online community courses in August and September.

We remain closed temporarily for public visits. Our pre-school is open from September during term time. Our rooms are not available for hire until further notice.

Thurrock Adult Community College offers hundreds of high-quality courses, during the day and evening, for beginners through to advanced diplomas. We provide relevant, useful and enjoyable learning experiences.

Our tutors are experienced, professionally-trained teachers and experts in their field who create a safe, stimulating and respectful environment for adult learners. Ofsted has graded our courses and teaching as 'Good' – read the Ofsted report.

We help people to learn skills to get into work, enjoy a new hobby or improve their job prospects. Whatever you choose to study, we hope there will be something for you. If you can't find the course you're looking, let us know – we want you to believe in yourself, achieve your learning goals and succeed in life.

Where to find us

We are centrally located in Grays and with close links to main roads and public transport, less than 15 minutes' walk from Grays railway station and nearby bus stops, within easy reach of Lakeside, the M25, A13 and A127.

We have a large, free car park for our learners. There are limited allocated spaces for people with disabilities. The car park is very close to the building so there is never far to walk, wherever you park.
