Adult social care and health grants

Community, voluntary and faith sector organisations in Thurrock can apply for grants from the 'Adult Social Care and Health Grant Bidding Fund', which has been set-up by Thurrock Council in partnership with Thurrock Clinical Commissioning Group.

Organisations are invited to submit proposals for projects that will improve adult social care and health in Thurrock. Projects must support one or more of the following themes:

  • theme 1 – reducing social isolation
  • theme 2 – supporting people to participate in education, training, volunteering and work
  • theme 3 – keeping safe
  • theme 4 – befriending

Proposals must show full costs and state how much funding will be needed – grants of between £1,000 and £40,000 are available.

Funding will be provided for one year between 1 April 2018 and 31 March 2019.

Successful and unsuccessful applicants notified of the outcome of their bids. Around Friday 15 December 2017
