Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Thurrock Coronavirus Community Action

We are working with partners in Thurrock to provide help for those most in need during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Thurrock Coronavirus Community Action is a partnership led by the council, Stronger Together and Thurrock CVS, working with local organisations to safely coordinate support and volunteers.

Help for residents

Our priority is to help residents who:

  • must stay at home and self-isolate, either because they have symptoms or because they have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace
  • do not have friends or family who can help

We can help with:

  • shopping for food
  • collecting medicines
  • social contact

Separately, if you are employed or self-employed on a low income and have to self-isolate at home, you may be entitled to a one-off Test and Trace Support payment.

How to get help

If you or someone you know is vulnerable – without friends or family to help – and in need of help with shopping, medicine or other vital support, please send us details using the form below.

Our Thurrock CVS partners will respond as soon as possible.

Thurrock Coronavirus Community Action form

Help can be provided more quickly if you can answer all the questions on the form. If you can't answer all the questions on the form, please complete as much as you can.
