Dog bins and dog fouling

Dog fouling

If you do not clean up your dog's mess, you could receive a £80 fixed penalty notice or be taken to court and fined up to £1,000.

When walking your dog, always carry a plastic bag. Put the wrapped waste in a dog waste bin, street waste bin or your home waste bin.

Enforcement officers are out and about in the borough looking for offenders and will take action where necessary.

You should tell us if you see someone not clear up their dog's mess. If possible, please tell us the owner's vehicle details or the address where the dog is kept.
