What's on in Thurrock
Rotary Annual Christmas Concert
The Rotary Club of Grays Thurrock invites you to its Annual Christmas Concert!
Since 2009, Grays Rotary Club has produced an Annual Christmas Concert to raise money for the club's Charity Fund, which supports its benevolent work in the local community and further afield. After a year lost to COVID-19 – during which their last concert was recorded and broadcast via social media – the club is delighted to be heading towards more normal times with a live performance this year.
The show will feature the nationally-renowned Aveley and Newham Brass Band, along with perennial favourites, the Thurrock Mosaic Choir. Local young musical talent will also get a chance to star on stage and to showcase their instrumental, vocal and dancing skills.
As always, the generosity of the Thurrock public in supporting this event is invaluable, and the club looks forward to welcoming back a live audience for this year’s event.
Your safety is very important to us
We do not have social distancing built-in to our our seating plan for this show but we have reduced our capacity to 250. If required, you can ask for a seat to be left in-between your booking by calling our Box Office on 0345 300 5264.
There will be one-way systems in place, and the foyer area has been re-designed to allow a better flow of people, so you can now buy all your drinks and snacks in one place. Please keep your distance and follow the signs throughout the building.
We ask all customers carry out coronavirus (COVID-19) lateral flow test before visiting the theatre.
Doors will open 45 minutes before the show. We encourage customers to make their way to their seats as soon as possible.
We also encourage customers to wear a face covering if they can, and ask that these be removed only when eating or drinking.
If you are feeling unwell, please follow COVID-19 guidelines and do not attend. A full refund will be offered for your ticket if you are unable to attend because you've received a positive COVID-19 test or have been asked to isolate.
