Before you travel by ferry

Ferry services can sometimes be affected by the weather, tides, busy shipping and other factors. To check latest notices published by the ferry operator before you travel, go to the Jetstream Tours website, or phone Jetstream Tours on 01634 525 202.

Connecting travel to and from the ferry

Tilbury sailings are to and from the Tilbury Riverside pontoon, off Ferry Road, Tilbury. On the Gravesend side, all sailings are to and from the Town Pier.

Getting to and from the ferry by car

The Tilbury to Gravesend ferry is a foot passenger service - bicycles can be taken on board, but motorbikes and other types of vehicle are not permitted.

Limited free parking is available on the Tilbury Riverside pontoon itself.

Getting to and from the ferry by public transport

There is a bus stop directly opposite the ferry terminal at Tilbury. From here, Ensignbus route 99 goes to the Tilbury Asda superstore via the town centre and Tilbury Town railway station on the c2c rail line.

Gravesend station, on the Southeastern rail line, is just a 10-minute walk from the Town Pier. There are also many connecting bus services from stops opposite the Town Pier – go to Traveline South East and Anglia to plan your journey.
