Request: 

1. The total number of public EV charge points installed within the council's jurisdiction as of the current date, including their locations.

2. The number of EV charge points installed in 2023, along with their locations and the total cost of installation.

3. A breakdown of the charge points by charging capacity (slow, fast, rapid).

4. Details of any plans or proposals to increase the number of EV charge points in 2024, including projected numbers, locations, and the anticipated cost of installation.

5. The amount of funding provided by the UK government for the installation of EV charge points in the past and for future installations.

6. The total expenditure on the installation and maintenance of EV charge points for the past three financial years.

7. Any available data on the usage of these EV charge points (e.g., number of charges per month/year).

Response: 

1. The total number of public EV charge points installed within the council's jurisdiction as of the current date, including their locations.  2 bays in Argent Street Car Park, Grays & 2 bay in Canterbury Parade Car Park, South Ockendon

2. The number of EV charge points installed in 2023, along with their locations and the total cost of installation. Locations as above. Total Cost = £36,648.81

3. A breakdown of the charge points by charging capacity (slow, fast, rapid). Fast 7Kw

4. Details of any plans or proposals to increase the number of EV charge points in 2024, including projected numbers, locations, and the anticipated cost of installation. Please see the list below showing the locations and number of bays. The estimated cost is £430k (this can viable to change as it is only estimated costs)
