Publication date:
Tuesday 10 March 2020
Request:

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act. A recent Reuters article indicated that Milford Haven has expressed an interest in becoming a free port https://uk.reuters.com/article/us-britain-eu-freeports/uk-plans-to-create-up-to-10-freeports-to-boost-post-brexit-trade-idUKKCN1UR5SD In light of this, I would like to request the following information:

1. All internal correspondence and communications that the Council may have sent or received that mentions, or refers to, free ports.

2. All external correspondence and communications held by the Council that mentions, or refers to, free ports.

As for a timeframe, please search your records from 1st July 2019 to the current day. I am happy for you to conduct an electronic search only. Please direct this request to the department which likely deals with issues relating to freeports.

By ‘correspondence and communications’, I define this as including, but not limited to, the following:

- Emails (and their attachments)
- Letters
- Reports/briefings
- Memos
- Research documents
- Presentation slides
- Notes taken during telephone conversations
- Minutes/notes taken during meetings
- Invitations
