I’ve been asked by director to source pay and benefits for social workers in children’s social care from social worker to head of service.
Social Workers salaries are on Band 6 Scale Point 23 to 32 , (£24,630 - £32,145)
Senior Practitioners salaries are on Band 7 Scale Point 30 to 39, (£30,285 - £39,543)
Team Managers’ salaries are Band 8 Scale Point 37 to 46, (£37,266 - £48,600)
Strategic Lead Salaries are Band 10 Scale Point 52 to 60, (£57,957 - £72,756)
Assistant Director Salaries are part of the Senior Manager Pay Scales (£70,500 - £100,002)
Social Workers receive a Competency Payment of £3500 per six months, and Business User Allowance of £95.75 per month.
Senior Social Workers receive a Competency Payment of £5000 per six months, and Business User Allowance of £95.75 per month.
Social workers also receive a retention bonus of £2000 or £3000 for CFAT and FST paid in January.
