There are lots of ways you can be involved in shaping and improving the services you get as a tenant or leaseholder.
We want to improve the way we consult you over issues you find important. You can tell us which matters affect you and your family, and how you would like to be involved in dealing with them, by joining our resident involvement register.
You’re welcome to come and share any concerns or ideas you have on improving the area with our estate officers. Estate officers regularly inspect estates, streets and roads in most areas. You can join them on an estate inspection.
Local housing surgery
You can go to your local housing surgery. Held weekly across Thurrock, they cover topics such as rents, benefits, repairs and maintenance. The weekly surgeries let you to meet estate staff and discuss any issues you may have. There are also monthly themed surgeries.
There are many community groups across the borough, including local community forums and residents' associations. These raise local concerns across a wide range of topics. Housing staff regularly attend to listen and act upon the issues.
You can also get involved through our Excellence Panel.
