Coronavirus (COVID-19) – libraries

All libraries are closed until further notice. You can access newspapers and magazines and e-books and e-audio online.

Return dates for loaned items have been extended until the end of July so you don't need to renew. All fines for overdue items will be waived. You cannot reserve or return books at present – please keep hold of your borrowed items and do not put them in library book drops or letterboxes.

e-books and e-audio

BorrowBox by Bolinda Digital has a wide range of e-books and audiobooks for adults and children to download for free.

You can check out up to 7 titles from their collection of e-books and e-audio, in addition to the 14 physical items you can borrow on your library card.

The lending period can vary from title to title, the maximum being 21 days.

Amazon Audible

Amazon's Audible service allows you to download and listen to the world's best storytelling via audiobooks, original series and more, on their free app.

While schools are closed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, all stories will be free to stream on desktops, laptops, smartphones or tablets.

Kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids.
