Warm Homes programme

Our Warm Homes programme helps property owners and private tenants benefit from warmer and cheaper to heat homes.

What the programme does

Funding is available for:

  • replacing old inefficient heating systems
  • replacing boilers
  • loft insulation
  • cavity wall insulation

In addition, our Well Homes programme can help Thurrock residents improve their home, health and well-being.

Who is eligible

To qualify you must own your property or rent privately – not a council house or housing association property.

You must also be either:

  • receiving a benefit
  • spending more than 10% of your disposable income on fuel bills

This offer is available to any home in the borough that qualifies.
