Beginners computer sessions

Our free Wiser4IT sessions are ideal for anyone who wants to learn how to use a computer.

This 5-week course is ideal for the over 50s but anyone can apply to take part.

The 5 sessions cover:

  • using a mouse and getting started on a computer
  • exploring the internet
  • sending and replying to emails
  • typing simple documents and word processing
  • adding pictures and clip art to documents

The sessions last 2 hours with a break for refreshments. They are very informal and people learn at their own pace.

There is a waiting list to join these sessions.
