Our child-friendly video, welcome back to school and nursery, shows how children can learn and have fun together while still staying safe from coronavirus.

Dropping off and picking up

We are open from 8am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

We are closed on public holidays, over Christmas and for occasional staff training days – you will not be charged for these days.

Dropping off your child

When you drop off your child in the morning, please take them to their room and encourage them to hang their bags and coats up.

At Neptune Nursery you must sign-in your child.

Collecting your child

Please collect your child from their room and take home any personal belongings.

At Neptune Nursery, you should empty their tray and make sure your child is signed out.

You must collect your child by 6:25pm as the nurseries close their doors at 6:30pm. This gives our staff time to talk to parents about their child's day, and also to tidy away the day's activities.

You must pay a late fee if you arrive after 6:25pm to collect your child.

It is important that you are punctual when collecting your child from the nursery, as delays can be very upsetting for young children waiting to go home. Also, if you don't bring in your child and pick them up at the stated times, we may not have the ratio of staff to children that is required by law.

You must tell us in advance if, for any reason, someone else must pick up your child. We will ask you for a password that the person collecting your child will need to tell our staff. We will not allow your child to go with anyone else, and will contact you if we have concerns.
