Inspire Youth Hub offers advice after exam results

3 August 2022

Inspire Youth Hub Careers Advisers offer support and help for young people, allowing them to discover a world of exciting careers, training and apprenticeship opportunities.

Cllr Barry Johnson, Cabinet Member for Education, said: "Our Careers Advisers provide an extremely helpful, free, friendly service that can help those who are a little unsure of what to do next after receiving their GCSE or A Level results later this month.

"Anyone aged 16 to 25 is welcome to drop into Inspire Youth Hub Tuesday to Friday, or contact the team in advance to have a conversation, or make an appointment to speak with a Careers Adviser who can provide one to one support and guidance.

"With so many options and opportunities out there, by speaking with one of our advisers you will be able to identify and explore your passions, your skills and what you're good at, and from there see what jobs, training or careers could suit you best – throughout Thurrock and beyond, and across many different sectors.

"I invite our young people to make the most of this fantastic free resource to discover their next step in life."

The Inspire Youth Hub is based at 24-28 Orsett Road in Grays. For more information, email thurrockcareers@thurrock.gov.uk or call 01375 413 735.
