You or your family could be anywhere when an emergency occurs: at school, work, home, or out for the day. What would you do?
Emergencies may happen quickly and without warning. To stay safe, you may have to remain in your home or place of work or you may have to evacuate the area. What if basic services - water, gas, electricity - are cut off? The emergency services, local authority and utilities suppliers will be at the scene, but they cannot reach everyone right away.
