Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Arisdale Avenue, Phase 1

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be:

a) To introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

i. at the junction of Falcon Way and Arisdale Avenue
ii. at the junction of Falcon Way and Vanette Way
iii. at the junction of Falcon Way and Maverick Drive 
iv. at the junction of Falcon Way and Park Way 
v. at the junction of Falcon Way and Fairmount Drive 
vi. on the northern western side of Falcon Way, from a point opposite 1m north of the shared boundary wall of 50 & 52 Falcon Way in a southerly direction to a point 3m east of the western flank wall of 29 Falcon Way
vii. on the southern side of Falcon Way, from a point opposite 4m east of the western flank wall of No 50 Falcon Way in a westerly direction to a point 3m east of the western flank wall of 29 Falcon Way
viii. on the northern-eastern side of Falcon Way, from a point 1m north of the shared boundary wall of 50 & 52 Falcon Way in a southerly direction to a point 4m east of the western flank wall of 50 Falcon Way
ix. at the junction of Torino Way and Maverick Drive 
x. at the junction of Torino Way and Fairmount Drive

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 27 July 2020. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
