Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay

Belhus no.5

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 4 March 2021, the order will come in to force on 26 March 2021.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to:

a. introduce a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay at the location(s) specified below:

i. on the southern side of Humber Avenue, from the shared boundary of 5-11 and 13-19 Humber Avenue, in a western direction for a distance of 6.6m
ii. on the northern side Fortin Close, from the common boundary of 8 and 10 Fortin Close in a western direction for a distance of 6.6m

b. revoke a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay at the location(s) specified below:

i. Fortin Way, outside 27 Fortin Way

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act has not been compiled with, may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
