Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations;-

i. at the junction of Sleepers Farm Road and Godman Road
ii. at the junction of Sleepers Farm Road and Alexandra Close
iii. at the junction of Sleepers Farm Road and Brentwood Road
iv. on the south western side of Sleepers Farm Road, from a point opposite 10m north of the northern kerb line of Alexandra Close in a southerly direction to its junction with Brentwood Road
v. at the junction of Ingleby Road and Halton Road
vi. at the junction of Ingleby Road and Claudian Way
vii. at the junction of Ingleby Road and Saint Francis Way
viii. at the junction of Oxford Avenue and Merton Place
ix. at the junction of Oxford Avenue and Newnham Place
x. at the junction of Oxford Avenue and Cambridge Gardens
xi. at the junction of Thames Drive and Thames View
xii. at the junction of Thames Drive and Crouch Road
xiii. at the junction of Thames Drive and Stour Road
xiv. at the junction of Thames Drive and Lea Road
xv. at the junction of Squirrel’s Chase and Hornsby Lane 
xvi. at the junction of Heath Road and Orsett Heath Crescent northern arm
xvii. at the junction of Heath Road and Orsett Heath Crescent southern arm

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 12 November 2020. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
