Notice Declaring Street to be Highway Maintainable at Public Expense following Street Works

To: The Owner (s) of The Chase, Grays

Footways and carriageways within the above mentioned street and shown coloured yellow on the plan below, not being at the date of this Notice, a highway maintainable at public expense has been constructed and built to the requirements of the street works authority.

NOW Thurrock Council as the street works authority for the above mentioned street declares that the street shall be a highway maintainable at public expense on the expiration of a period of one month from the date when this Notice is first displayed that is one month from 16 March 2018. The street shall become a highway maintainable at the public expense unless within the period the owner of the street or, if more than one, the majority of number of owners (joint owners counting as one) by notice to the Council object.

A copy of this Notice and full scale plan may be inspected free of charge at Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday].

Any objections to the Notice may be sent to Transport Development at Thurrock Council no later than 13/04/2018. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
