Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)
No waiting at any time
1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").
2) The general effect of the Order would be:
a) to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:
i. on the northeast side of East Tilbury Road, from a point 15m southeast of the southern kerb line of Hampshire Gardens in a northwest direction for a distance of 43m
ii. on the southwest side of East Tilbury Road, from a point 15m northwest of the northern kerb line of Hampshire Gardens in a northwest direction for a distance of 34.5m
iii. at the junction of Brindle Closes and Beechcroft Avenue
iv. at the junction of Princess Margaret Road and Bata Mews
v. at the junction of Princess Margaret Road and north access to Thames Industrial Park
b) to revoke existing waiting restriction "No Waiting Mon-Sat 7am-6pm" at the following locations:
i. at the junction of Princess Margaret Road and Bata Mews
ii. at the junction of Princess Margaret Road and north access to Thames Industrial Park
3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development Team by contacting us on 01375 652652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices
4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to email@example.com to arrive on or before 22 October 2020. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
