Footpath 145 Public Path Diversion Order 2022 - Notice of confirmation of Order

The above Order, confirmed on 20 December 2022 under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 will divert a part length of Footpath 145.

Thurrock Council Planning granted 22/00077/FULPSI (Construction of a new 2-form entry primary school and nursery (Use Class F1) with outdoor sports areas, access, parking, landscaping and drainage), dated 29 July 2022, which necessitated the re-routing of the footpath. A part-length of Footpath 145 shown by a black dotted line on the map attached to this Order commencing at the point A running in a southwest direction for a distance of approximately 162 metres to point B and then in a southeast direction for a distance of approximately 68 metres to the point C.

This Order came into force on the date Thurrock Council certified the terms of Article 2 of the Order had been complied with. But, if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date of this notice.

Certificate of order coming into force – in accordance with s257 paragraph 8 of schedule 14 to the above Act, notice is hereby given that on 20 December 2022 
Thurrock Council certified that the replacement rights of way required under the terms of the above order have been created to its reasonable satisfaction.

The Order has now taken effect.
