Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay

Grays Thurrock no.10

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on 20 July 2022, the order will come in to force on 17 of August 2023.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay at the following location(s): 

i. on the southeast side of Hampden Road, from a point 1m southwest of the common boundary wall of 50 and 52 Hampden Road in a northeast direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m
ii. on the east side of Salisbury Road, from a point 1.5m north of the common boundary wall of 22 and 24 Salisbury Road in a south direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to object to the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirements of the Act has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from the date of on which the order is made apply for the purpose to the High Court.
