Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay
Grays Thurrock no.9
1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").
2) The general effect of the Order would be:
a) to introduce a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay, at the location(s) specified below:
i. on the east side of Salisbury Road, from a point 0.6m north of the common boundary wall of 102 and 104 Salisbury Road in a south direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m
ii. on the east side of Richmond Road, from a point 1.5m north of the common boundary wall of 74 and 76 Richmond Road in a south direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m
iii. on the south side of William Street, from a point 1.2m west of the common boundary wall of 102 and 104 William Street in an east direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m
iv. on the north side of College Avenue, from a point 15m west of western kerbline of Southend Road in a west direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m
v. on the east side of Hathaway Road, from the common boundary wall of 172 and 174 Hathaway Road in a south direction for a distance of approximately 6.6m
b) to revoke a Disabled Badge Holders Parking Bay at the location(s) specified below:
i. on the west side of Kent Road Grays, outside 99 Kent Road
3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices
4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 23rd February 2023. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
