Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

Grays Zone J access roads

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above on 20 June 2019, the Order will come into force on the 22 July 2019.

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce: "No Waiting At Any Time" at the locations specified below:

a) Richmond Road – western side from the northern property boundary of number 35 Richmond Road, northwards for 10.3m
b) Richmond Road – western side from the northern property boundary of number 101 Richmond Road, northwards for 4.5m
c) Richmond Road – eastern side from the northern property boundary of number 102 Richmond Road, northwards for 5m
d) Richmond Road – eastern side from the northern property boundary of number 36 Richmond Road, 5.4m northwards
e) Salisbury Road – western side from the northern property boundary of number 33 Salisbury Road, 4.5m northwards
f) Salisbury Road – western side from the northern property boundary of number 87 Salisbury Road,  4.9m northwards
g) Salisbury Road – western side from the northern property building line of number 111 Salisbury Road, 6.2m northwards
h) Salisbury Road – eastern side from the northern property boundary of number 90 Salisbury Road; 4.3m northwards
i) Salisbury Road – eastern side from the northern property boundary of number 36 Salisbury Road, 3.6m northwards
j) Salisbury Road – eastern side from the northern property boundary of number 2 Salisbury Road, 10.8m southwards
k) Salisbury Road – western side from the southern property boundary of number 56 Benson Road, 4.2m southwards
l) Kent Road – western side from the northern property boundary of number 95 Kent Road, 7.4m northwards
m) Kent Road – eastern side from the northern property boundary of number 106 Kent Road,  4m northwards

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans will be available for inspection for a period of 21 days at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act has not been compiled with, may, within 3 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
