Public notice

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a new waiting restriction "No Waiting At Any Time" at the following locations:

I. on the north side of Harty Close, from a point 1m west of the east property wall of flats 18-32 Harty Close in an east direction following the kerbline for a distance of 9.5m
II. on the north side of Harty Close, from a point 1m east of the common boundary wall of numbers 14 and 16 Harty Close in a west direction following the kerbline for a distance of 10m
III. on the north side of Harty Close from a point 1m east of the common boundary wall of numbers 4 and 6 Harty Close in an east then north direction following the kerbline to a point 1m north of the south property wall of 4 Harty Close
IV. on the south side of Harty Close from a point 2m west of the east property wall of flats 5-19 Harty Close in an east then south direction following the kerbline for a distance of 20m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans can be obtained from the Transport Development team by contacting us on 01375 652 652 during normal office hours or alternatively via Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made and sent to the following address Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL or sent via email to troconsultations@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 14 December 2023. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
